This week we continue looking at the Human Body. Remember, as we go through this entire unit, add to, redo, edit your Human Body Notebook 10 projects. Send it to hoopmanscience@gmail.com. This week as a class we are editing and adding to the pages on the nervous and endocrine systems.
How does our nervous system communicate with our surroundings? our bodies? the other parts of the nercous system?
What are hormones? How do they work?
Contracts for this week focus on these questions. Use the Human Body Google Doc we created as a list of resources to use in your research and use this form to add new resources.

ReplyDeletewhere are hormones made in our bodies?
ReplyDeleteI think the endocrine system uses hormones instead of nerves as messengers because the hormones dont just carry the message, they also bring along a chemical that helps your body respond to different situations.
ReplyDeleteHormones are chemical messangers that affect your body automatically and are signaled by nerves(sometimes) and are registerd in hypothalamus=where nerves and hormones controlled from brain
ReplyDeleteEx: Nerves sense pain and adrenal(hormone) goes there or platelets clot because of hormone
Why do people always spell things wrong? Did they ever take a language arts class?
