1.2 & 1.3: The Periodic Table of Elements

This week we wrap up atomic structure with the Periodic Table.

What are the different groups or families on the Periodic Table?
Why are those groups seperated in the ways they are?

Contract 20 will finish up our ceiling Periodic Table.

Why are those groups seperated in the ways they are? thats a good ? they are seperated by the way they are made like what atomic nuber they have and the atomic mass which means when they have numbers by one another that means that they have something in comon with one a nother

1. The different groups or families on the periodic table are Metals, rare earth metals, transistion metals, alkali metals, alkiline metals, others, non metals, noble gases, hallogens, and metalloids
2. They are seperated because of charactristics and similair properties.
