This week we begin our next unit of Earth Science. We start by looking at water.
What is the water cycle?
How does the water cycle affect us?
Why do belly flops hurt?
Why does ice float?

Contract Week 11 has you researching the unique molecule of water or diagram the water cycle beyond just what the book portrays.

The water cycle is the continuous movement of water through the enviornment of Earth.
Who came up with the water cycle?
The water cycle affects us because with out it we may not have any fresh water and fresh water is the water we can drink. So we wouldn't be able to live then.
They water cycle affects us by the condensation because if water evaporates and doesn't rain there will be a flood. Also the precipatation can also affect us because it could rainn sleet and that affects us bythe sleet freezing to the ground and cars can hit each other in a city and in a highway there will be lots of accidents
how long does it usally take for water that evaporated to come rain back down.
The water cycle is the movement of water throughout the earth. When water evaporates out of the oceans or lakes and rivers, it will rise and condense into water vapor droplets in clouds. Eventually when the water gets heavy enough, it will falls as rain. That cycle happens over and over again. The water cycle affects us, because if we didn't have water, there would be none to evaporate aand rain, so it could lead to a drought.
Also when water falls as rain it will always be fresh water, because when salt water eveporates the salt is left behind, therefore rain is always fresh water.
the water cycle is a contiuous cycle of water. it affects us because wothout water animals wouldn't have water and they would die. when the animals die we wouldn't have water or food so we would die as well.
The water cycle is how water moves throughout the Earth and the atmosphere.
